Obituary

Howard C. Hathaway, 68, (Howie) of Holliston passed away peacefully Saturday May 9th surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Janice (Keegan) Hathaway and son of the late Howard and Edith (O'Dowd) Hathaway. A longtime resident of Holliston, Howard was associated with the former Shipley Company for 35 years. Mr. Hathaway served his country honorably with the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was an active member of the American Legion James O'Carey Post 77 in Ashland. In addition to his wife; he is survived by two daughters, Jen Hathaway of Clifton Park, NY; and Karen Trilligan and her husband Bryan of Auburn, MA; four grandchildren, Kay Hathaway, and Bailey, Grady, and Aidyn Rose Trilligan and his beloved grandpup, Murphy; brother, Robert Hathaway and his wife Joanne of Marlborough, and sister, Joan Buchan and her husband Buck of Ashland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday May 16th at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty St. Ashland with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Jimmy Fund, P.O.
