Holly Urquhart, 79, of Ashland passed away Mon. March 7 ^th after a period of declining health.  Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (Bower) Thayer.  She was the beloved wife of Wayne Urquhart; together for over 60 years.  Holly grew up in Wellesley and was a graduate of Wheelock College.  She went on to become a second grade teacher in the Town of Natick for 35 years, retiring in 1998. Along with her husband, she enjoyed sailing and fine dining.

In addition to her husband, Holly is survived by one sister, Laurel Martin of Millis.

Funeral services are private.
