Hildegard Klementine McCormack, 80, formerly of Southborough, died Friday, May 26, 2006, at West Newton Skilled Nursing and Care Center in West Newton, after a long illness. She was the wife of Donald J. McCormack, who died in 2000. Born in Dortmund, Germany, she came to this country in 1947 as a German war bride. She was employed by Dennison Manufacturing Company for many years prior to her retirement. She leaves her son, Donald J. McCormack Jr. of Bourne; her daughters, Hildegard and her husband, Fred, of Ashland and Patricia Williams of Bourne; her grandchildren, Frederick Popovich and his wife, Juliet, of Dudley, David Popovich and his wife, Andrea, of Hudson, Alexis Brunsell and her husband, Jeff, of Grafton, Carly, John, Hildegard and Maggie Williams of Bourne; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A private service will take place at a later date. Matarese Funeral Home of Ashland is in charge of arrangements.
