Hilda (Sartain) Simonetta was born January 25, 1923 in Newport, RI, daughter to the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sartain. She worked for many years at Dennison Manufacturing Co. and enjoyed spending summers at the Cape with her family. She also had a passion for dancing. She is survived by her 6 children: Theodore Simonetta (wife Susan) of South Carolina; Carla Keller of Bourne, MA; Andrea Burnett (husband Max) of Leominster; Paula Butler of Jupiter FL; Lisa Snyder (husband James) of Des Moines, IA; and Michael Simonetta (wife Veronica) of Grafton, MA. She is also survived by her brother and sister in law Mr. and Mrs. Francis Sartain, 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her loving husband Carlo Simonetta who passed away in 1981 and her sister Claire Sartain who passed away in 1993. Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the Matarese Funeral Home from 5 to 7 PM. Funeral mass will held Wednesday, August 12 at St. Cecilia's Church at 9 AM, followed by interment at Wildwood Cemetery, Ashland, MA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Beacon Hospice, 36 William St., Leominster, MA.
