Grace L. (Lord) Bunker, 84, of Ashland, died Sunday, July 16, 2006, in Framingham after a period of declining health. She was the wife of Donald Bunker, who died in 2004. Born in Francestown, N.H., she was the daughter of the late William and Naomi (Morse) Lord. She was a graduate of Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H., attended Burdett College and worked in the production engineering office of Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford, Conn. during World War II. She worked part time for many years at the Ashland Dairy Queen. Mrs. Bunker was a member of the Ashland Federated Church and Theta Phi. She leaves her children, Gerald Bunker of Ashland and Marilyn Bunker of Chelsea, Vt.; her granddaughters, Lori Keenan and her husband, William, of Corona, Calif. and Cindi Grover and her husband, Mark, of Ashland; her great-grandchildren, Nickolas, Brandon and Brianna Grover and Matthew, Taylor and Michael Keenan. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 24, at 11 a.m., at the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St., Ashland. There are no visiting hours.
