Gino O. Bonvini, Jr. of Ashland, MA passed away peacefully on October 22nd surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his parents Gino Bonvini, Sr. and Eva Bonvini, and his mother, Mary (Paine) Bonvini and his sister Donna (Bonvini) Jensen. Gino graduated from Framingham South High School in 1969 and was most recently a stylist at Style Salon in Framingham, as well as Phillip DePalma Salon and other area salons. He loved all things creative, but especially cooking, flower arranging, crocheting and spending time with his family and friends. His dogs Wesley, Jr. and Ashley were well loved by him. While his life ended too soon, his days were full of love and laughter with friends and family. Everyone who knew him laughed with him and received his love and kindness. He is survived by his husband, Alan Herman, his daughter Melissa (Bonvini) Murphy, his step-daughter Debra (Herman) Yampolsky, his step-son Michael Herman and his four grandchildren, Amelia and Ben Murphy, and Jessica and David Yampolsky. He is also survived by his sister Mary Jane (Bonvini) Sangster and his beloved family. A Celebration of his Life will take place Sunday, Oct. 25th at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 11:00am-1:00 PM prior to the service.
