George Lolos, 79, of Ashland passed away unexpectedly Friday Dec. 5th. Born in Sparta, Greece, he was the husband of Helen (Meletis) Lolos. Mr. Lolos was the owner and operator of Village Stationary in Holliston for 35 years retiring in 2012. A loving husband and father, George was an example of devotion and strength to his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Costa and John Lolos, both of Ashland, two brothers, Antonios and Strati, one sister, Maria, and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be celebrated Thursday Dec. 11th at 10:00am in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 57 Brown St. in Weston with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
