DeMauro, George A. Holden/Framingham George A DeMauro, 78, of Holden, formerly of Framingham, passed away, Friday, Jan. 16th at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Theodore and Virginia (Faustinoni) DeMauro, and husband of Gilda (Lambert) DeMauro. They were married 22 years. A lifelong resident of Framingham, he worked as a maintenance supervisor for RH Longs for 37 years. He was a member of the Christopher Columbus Society, Framingham Elks, and Framingham Dramatic Club. George was an avid golfer, who loved to cook, entertain, hunt, and travel. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Mike DeMauro and his wife Barbara of Framingham; David DeMauro of Framingham; Daniel DeMauro and his partner Laura Roche of Conn.; and Kissy DeMauro of Sherborn; one step-son, John McJunkins and his wife Janice of Sterling; one brother, Theodore DeMauro and his wife Bobbi of Uxbridge; and one sister, Josephine Liberatore and her husband John of Framingham;five grandchildren, one great grandson, and many nieces and nephews. He was brother to the late Lucy Lodi, Theresa Tiveli, and Patrick DeMauro. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Sat. Jan. 24th at 11:00am in St. Tarcisius Church in Framingham. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
