Obituary

George Boutsifakos, 68, died on Monday Aug. 12, 2019. He was born on September 7, 1950 in Trizinias/Poros, Greece. He leaves his wife of 36 years, Stephanie Ropi Boutsifakos. He was the son of the late Constantinos and Stamatina (Logothetou) Boutsifakos of Greece. Brother to the late Paniotis Boutsifakos of Greece, Vangelis Boutsifakos of Australia, Soterios Boutsifakos of Greece, Tassos Boutsifakos of Greece, Vasilis Boutsifakos of Sweden and his sister Eleni Tsarmpou of Greece. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. George was a veteran of the Greek Army and traveled all over the world working on many ships as a seaman. George opened two G&S Pizza's both in Framingham, Ma. until selling and moving to Las Vegas, NV for over 20 years. He worked at the Golden Nugget casino as a Craps/Dice dealer. He also invented and licensed two casino table games called "TWO CARDS HIGH" and a jackpot version. He traveled to Greece every summer to visit family and did almost everything he ever wanted (His wife is most comforted by that). He dealt with severe COPD for many years, but succumbed to colon cancer. He was a unique character; he was loved and will be missed. A private Orthodox service will be held with burial at Rural Cemetery in Southborough, MA.
