Gene C. DeCamp, 99, of Windham, NH, and formerly of Londonderry, NH, Ashland, MA and Holliston, MA passed away on Saturday, August 5, after a period of declining health at Windham Terrace.  He was the husband of the late Carmella (Spadano) DeCamp who passed away in 2005.  Mr. DeCamp graduated from the College of Liberal Arts at Boston University and received his Master's Degree in Education from Framingham State University. He taught history at Holliston High School and went on to become Chair of the Social Studies Department for Dover-Sherborn Regional High School. One of the highlights of his teaching career was taking his class on a trip to Russia. He was also very involved in community activities in Holliston.

He is survived by three children; Rosemarie Meuse of Ashland, MA, Gene R. DeCamp and his wife Carolyn of Londonderry, NH, Robert DeCamp and his wife Paula of Naples, FL, four grandchildren, Amy Gosztyla, Kara Tartufo, Mark DeCamp, Arianna DeCamp and six great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son-in-law Philip Meuse.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 10th, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 8 Church Street, Holliston, MA with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Holliston.
