Obituary

Fred Kalloch of Worcester, formerly of Ashland passed away October 2nd after a period of declining health. He leaves his wife, Gail of 48 years; son, Gary and wife Lisa Kalloch of Revere, MA; daughters, Pam and husband Steve Patten of Bolton, MA; Marjorie and husband Dan Manning of Northbridge, MA; Susan and husband Ken O'Connell of Worcester, MA. He also leaves behind 13 loving grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as his sisters, June Parmenter from Seminole, Florida and Georgia (Gayton) Yvonne from Woodstock, Connecticut. Fred was an army veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, a member of the Framingham State Police, Ashland Auxiliary Police, and Deputy Marshal and Grand Marshal of Ashland, MA. He was a member of the Ashland VFW, Post 2331. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing his guitar. Most of all he loved being with his family. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday evening at 5 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2 PM to prior to the service.
