Frank J. Fulhan, Jr., 78, of Dover, NH, passed away September 2nd at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham, MA. He was the husband of Josephine A. Fulhan. Born in New Bedford, MA, he was the son of the late Frank J. Fulhan, Sr. and the late Alice Hotte Fulhan. Frank was a longtime resident of Cape Elizabeth, ME for 38 years before moving to Dover, NH in 2010. Frank graduated from New Bedford High School and then served four years in the U.S. Air Force before beginning a thirty-five year career in sales with Nabisco Brands. Frank took tremendous pride in his career and in caring for his customers as though they were cherished friends. He took even greater pride and invested special love in caring for his family, for whom he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Frank was deeply loved for his dedication, integrity, thoughtfulness, gregarious nature, attention to detail and many other traits that made him a "rock" for all who knew him. Frank was an avid sports fan, who had a lifelong love of the Red Sox. He enjoyed exercising, golf, yard work, the business world, investing, politics, doing things the right way and many other pursuits. But more than anything, Frank loved being with and caring for his family and friends, most especially his three grandchildren. In addition to Josie, his wife of forty-six years, Frank is survived by his son, Frank Fulhan and his wife Jill, and their sons Matthew and Alex of Ashland, MA; daughter Kimberly Nute and her husband Jim, and their daughter Emily of Dover, NH; sister Anne Murphy of New Bedford, MA. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 12th at 11:00am in St. Matthew's Church, 105 Southville Road in Southborough, MA.
