Frank L. Ambrogio, 84, of Ashland passed away Wed. Feb. 18th at his home.  Born in Newton, he was the son of the late Charles and Caroline (Zani) Ambrogio Sr. He worked as a manufacturer's representative in the electronics industry.  Frank was an avid outdoorsman. He had many lifelong friends and neighbors who he enjoyed joining for coffee or a friendly meal.  He was a generous person who asked for little in return.

Frank is survived by his daughter, Christine Almblad, granddaughters, Toni Lee and Cari Lee, brother, Charles Ambrogio Jr and his wife Anne Marie of Newmarket, NH, sister, Dorothy Ambrogio of Natick, MA, sister in law, Kathleen Ambrogio, nieces, Kaitlin and Keara, nephews, James, Andrew, and Michael, and many work, club, and lifelong friends.

In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his son Frank Lawrence Ambrogio Jr, brother, Edward Ambrogio, and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday March 14th from 9:00-11:45am in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.  A vigil prayer service will be held at 11:45am in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery of Ashland.
