Francis D. Condon died at home in Natick, MA, on October 11, 2014 after 92 years of life. He was the husband of 66 years to Margaret (Pirie) of Brighton, MA. He was born in Somerville, MA July 19th, 1922 to Frederick R. and Katherine (Scully). Father to Dorothy Schulz of Millis, MA, and Frederick (Rick) of Wading River, NY along with his wife Carol, currently residing in Natick with her in-laws. Grandfather to Marc Schulz and his wife Dawn of Auburn, NY, Gretchen Barrett and her husband Rick of Millis, MA, William (Bill) Schulz and his wife Lindsay, and Katherine (Kate) Bissett and her husband Callum of Worcester, MA. Great Grandfather to seven. World War II, US Navy veteran from 1942 to 1946, serving in the Atlantic and Pacific theatres. Lifetime Elk, and Past Exalted Ruler BPOE, Natick Lodge 1425 and past District Deputy BPOE, member of Natick VFW Lodge 1274. Retired in 1983 as Director of Buildings and Grounds at Framingham State College. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 18th at 5PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street in Ashland with calling hours taking place from 3-5pm prior to the service.
