Francine (LeDuc) Harrel, 63, of Bellingham, MA, now resides with the Lord following a courageous battle with breast cancer. The daughter of M. Simonne and Jean Louis LeDuc, she leaves behind: her beloved husband, C.J. Harrel; her son, Shayne Harrel, both of Bellingham; two sisters; Carolle Lawson of Bellingham; Ginette Hehn of Northbridge, MA; one brother; Jacques LeDuc of Ashland, MA; dear family friend; Gino Palazzo of Lake Jackson, TX; and a wonderfully loving and supportive extended family which includes many adoring nieces and nephews. Francine was an active member of the Faith Community Church of Hopkinton. Music was a large part of her life, and she expressed this passion by singing with her beautifully gifted voice. Francine was also a talented artist, and she captured her favorite subjects--such as scenic nature, covered bridges, and winter landscapes--through her painting. She shared those paintings with friends and family. Her sense of humor was contagious, with her razor-sharp wit always available for the amusement of those around her. A lover of life, a friend of countless, a relentless supporter, and an inspiration to all who benefited from her touch, she will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 24th, at 11:00 AM at the Faith Community Church of Hopkinton, 146 E Main St., Hopkinton, MA. Calling hours are scheduled for Sunday, June 23rd, from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St., Ashland MA.
