Obituary

Frances Fredericka (Tuliper) Pewtherer, 68, of Holliston, passed away, Friday, June 18th, at the Metrowest Medical Center in Natick. She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Jean (Nienaltaski) Tuliper, and wife of the late John W. Pewtherer Jr., who died in 1994. Frances was born in West Rutland Vermont and raised in Watertown MA, where she graduated in 1959. A resident of Holliston for 46 years, she worked at Dennison Manufacturing and General Motors for many years. She later worked for St. Patrick's Manor and Snap On Tools. Frances had so many things she enjoyed, including spending time with her family, gardening, traveling, trips to Foxwoods, and using pen on her crossword puzzles. She will be remembered as a loving friend and family member, who had an infectious laugh and brought joy and happiness to all those around her. She is survived by four daughters: Karla Pewtherer of Charlton; Karan Neal and her husband Richard of Charlton; Kandra Burgos and her husband Bolivar of Charlton; and Krystell Pewtherer and her partner Julie Watt of Uncasville, CT; six grandchildren; Jennifer, Mitchell, Michelle, John, Jacob, and Jared; one great-grandchild, Deanna "Gigi baby"; one brother, Ricky Tuliper of CA; and three sisters; Jean Cetrone of Watertown; Thrisha (Marie) Kerzwick of Natick; and Elizabeth Palumbo of Leominster. She also had many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 25th at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty St. in Ashland. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5:00-8:00 PM in theMatarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. Donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure (Breast Cancer Foundation).
