Frances C. King, 95, was peacefully called home by the Lord on March 23rd. A long-time resident of 118 Olive St. in Ashland, MA. Fran was lovingly cared for by the staff of Coleman House in Northboro for the last ten years. She was a graduate of Framingham State College and a long-time employee of the Ashland Apothecary and a member of the Ashland Federated Church. She was an accomplished pianist who enjoyed entertaining in local senior centers. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all that knew her. Fran was the daughter of Lamont and Ethel Clark of Attleboro. She was predeceased by her husband, William King; her twin sister, Ruth Laquidara and her two brothers, Carlos and Conrad Clark her Grandson Eric Bradbury and a dear friend Ed Whitten. She will be always loved, and forever missed, by her son, Leslie "Bud" King and his wife Patricia Jamieson of Webster, MA; her daughters Carol Lavargna and her husband Richard of New Smyrna Beach, FL; Sharon O'Loughlin and her husband David of Marlboro, MA; Deborah Wuller and her husband James of Springfield, MA; Jeanne Matz and her husband Paul of Plainville, MA; her 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of her Life will be held Sunday June 5th, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.. Calling hours will be held from 2:00-3:00 prior to the service. The family wishes to thank Patrick Blake and the wonderful staff at Coleman House for their compassionate treatment of Frances while she was in their care.
