Florence E. Blongastainer, 91, of Ashland passed away September 28 in Framingham. She was the wife of the late Austin Blongastainer, who died in 1976. Born in Somerville she was the daughter of the late Roland and Delima (LeBlanc) Coutu and had resided in Waltham before moving to Ashland in 1969. Florence is survived by a daughter, Mary Broderick of Southborough; brother, Armand Coutu of Niceville, FL; daughter-in-law, Helen Blongastainer of Ashland; six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Austin Blongastainer and the sister of the late Albert, Roland, and Walter Coutu and Florence Langill. A funeral Mass will be said on Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM in St. Cecilia's Church, Esty St., Ashland with interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Ashland. Calling hours are 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday evening from the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St., Ashland.
