Evelyn (Nei) Preservati, 91 of Eastham, former longtime resident of Framingham passed away Thursday July 25th at home surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late William and Mildred (Scagnelli) Nei.  Evelyn was the top notch wife of the late Richard Preservati who passed in 2022.  She worked for many years as the head cook in the Framingham School System and with her husband owned and operated Bethany Trucking Inc. and Prosperous Gardens Nursery in Ashland.

She is survived by two loving sons, Richard and his wife Lisa of Hopedale, and William and his wife Lori Wilcox of Ashland, four amazing grandchildren, Jannine and husband Thomas Almquist, Richard and wife Kerri, Michael and wife Lyndsey, and Billy, and five super great-grandchildren, Lexxus, John, Gracie, Everly and Alex She was the sister of Barbara Annesi and her husband Rocco and sister to the late Eleanor Bartolini and her late husband Mario, and many more close family and life long friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wed. July 31st at 10:00am in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly St. Framingham, MA with burial to follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham.  Visiting hours will be held Tue from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
