Evelyn Giombetti, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Saturday July 16th, 2011. Born in Framingham, one of four children, Evelyn was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Dondero) Borghi. Evelyn graduated from Framingham high school and was a long time resident of Ashland since 1949. Over her working career she worked as a keypunch operator at the Framingham Trust Company, as a bookkeeper at Sunshine Biscuit (she loved their cookies!), and ended her career retiring from her role as production control clerk at Dennison Manufacturing Company. Evelyn was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW 2331 in Ashland for many years. In her retirement years she enjoyed bingo nights, daily walks around the mall, and line dancing. She was a talented seamstress and loved country music, Elvis, and playing the accordion. One of her favorite pastimes was taking her two daughters to the casino. She was pre-deceased by three brothers Eugene, Paul and Louis. She is survived by her two daughters: Sandra and her husband John Leverone of Westboro, and Susan and her husband Alex Piccioli of Hopkinton and her grandchildren Lisa and her husband Loren Land of Westboro, and Christopher, Lindsay, and Amanda Piccioli.
