Eugenia (Jean) Brady Wrona passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026.

She was born on August 12, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late John and Eugenia (Tworkowski) Brady.

Jean earned a master's degree in nursing and spent her career as a registered nurse in hospital settings in New York, San Diego and Boston. She was a long-term resident of Westford, Massachusetts, where she was active in community affairs. She moved to Ashland in 2023.

Jean was the beloved wife of Dennis Wrona for nearly 55 years. Together they created a loving family, which was her life's most important work.

She was the loving mother of Christopher (Cynthia) Wrona, Meghan (Kevin) McGuire, Michael (Karen) Wrona, and Kathleen (Jon) Jutstrom; and the cherished grandmother of Liam, Jacob, Dylan Wrona, Noah, Brady, Andrew McGuire, Elisabeth, Benjamin Wrona and Liliana, Jack, Carter Jutstrom.

Jean adored her five brothers and is survived by Robert, Thomas, Joseph, James and was predeceased by John Brady. She was also a much-loved sister-in-law, aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and dear to many extended family members and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday May 14 from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland, MA 01721. A private funeral and burial will be held in accordance with her Catholic faith. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Doctors Without Borders or World Central Kitchens .
