Obituary

Esther M. (Lynch) Sacks, 97, of Ashland, passed away peacefully on July 20,2024 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leonard "Bill" Larson and Harold B. Sacks. She was also predeceased by her brother David Lynch and sister Dorothy Rondeau.

She is survived by her children Sandi (Larson) Bennett of Milford, Bill Larson and his wife Joan of Thousand Oaks, CA, Judith (Larson) Moynihan, and her husband John of Framingham.

She is also survived by a brother Ed Lynch and sister in-law Pat Smith.

She is survived by her 4 grandchildren, Ryan Dailey, Pam Rivera, Jules Cardoni and Ian Larson. Esther also leaves her devoted grandson-in law Jorge Rivera.

Her 8 great-grandchildren Andrew Rivera, Sofia Rivera, Ella Dailey, Kiera Dailey, Sienna Cardoni, Ivy Cardoni, Julian Larson and Mar  Larson.

Esther was born on May 6,1927 the daughter of Harold Lynch and Esther Lynch of Natick, MA. Esther attended Natick High School.

Esther will be remembered for her unconditional love of her family.  Esther had a love of fashion and beautiful things and her home was her castle. Entertaining and being with family and friends was her great joy.

Esther was an original fashionista and loved working in retail. She started her career at Jay's of Boston, in the Wellesley store. She worked in many specialty retail stores over the years, often being a top seller and making her customers feel valued and special.

Esther was a strong woman with class and grace. She shared a unique relationship with each of her children and grandchildren. She was a great listener and reveled in their stories. Her core value was family.

Esther had a strong sense of self and the desire to live life to the fullest. Appreciating the past but always looking forward to the future.

Esther was the cornerstone of her family and will be greatly missed.

A memorial prayer service will be held on August 5, at 10:00 AM Matarese Funeral Home, 325  Main Street,  Ashland , MA 01721,

A private burial will follow at the Edgell Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Michael J Fox Foundation, for Parkison's research .
