Ernestine "Tina" Morse, 87, of Ashland passed away Monday at Bethany Healthcare Center. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Kadra) Awad. She was married 54 years to Fredrick Morse who passed away October 30, 1999. A life-long resident of Ashland, Mrs. Morse was a member of St. Cecilia's Parish before residing at Bethany Healthcare. She was employed by Kemper Insurance for over 20 years. A life-long Red Sox fan, she also enjoyed gardening and cooking, especially Lebanese food for her family and friends. Her very special loves were her four grandchildren. Mrs. Morse leaves her three children: Raymond and Cheryl Morse of Mashpee, Bob and Debbie Morse of Ashland, and Cindy and Al Horwitz of Keaau, Hawaii. She also leaves her four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday Feb. 27th at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty Street, Ashland at 9 AM. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland.
