Enos Raffi, 89 of Ashland, formerly of Wellesley passed away Tuesday Jan 2nd after a long battle with cancer.  Born in Parma, Italy, he was the son of the late Virginio and Graziosa Raffi and was the beloved husband of Marie Anne (Goyette) Raffi for 55 years.  Enos immigrated to the United States at the age of 32 and was a longtime employee for the Wellesley Public School system, retiring as head custodian in 2001.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Christina Carbonaro and her husband Ralph of Spofford, NH, Andrea Reynolds and her husband Michael of Keene, NH, and Anthony Raffi and his wife Laura of Dunwoody, GA, and three grandchildren, Courtney and Dominic Carbonaro, and Victoria Reynolds.

A brother to a large family of ten siblings, many of whom live in the Boston area. His brothers and sisters include Modesto (deceased) and his wife Caterina, Leonita and her husband John (deceased), Paola and her husband Orlando (deceased), Aride and his wife Maria (both deceased), Alba and her husband John (deceased), Edda and her husband Bruno (both deceased), Cristoforo, Peter and his wife Louise, Anna Maria (deceased), and Sergio and his wife Maria, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 6th at 10:30am in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty St. Ashland, MA followed by cremation.  Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mr. Raffi's name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741
