Ellen F. (Giombetti) Wales, 69, of Ashland, passed away August 13 at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Warren Wales and her two children Kimberly Wales and Brian Wales all of Ashland. Ellen lived in Ashland for over 60 years. She graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1961. She worked for the Town of Ashland for over 10 years and most recently served as treasurer for the Ashland Cable Access Corporation. Ellen loved reading mystery novels and crocheting afghans. A funeral Mass will be held in Saint Cecilia's Church, Esty Street, Ashland on Monday morning at 9a.m with burial to follow at Wildwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3-5p.m. in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Ashland Emergency Fund, P.O.
