Elizabeth J. (Olson) Eynon 89 of Lynn, MA, passed away in Framingham July 21st after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late David S. Eynon who died in 2003. Born in Beverly she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ada (Green) Olson and had lived in Lynn over 50 years. She attended Storey High School in Manchester, NH and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Massachusetts State College Amherst, MA, Class of 1939. She had been employed with the Lynn Hospital as a Medical Technologist and retired in 1975 after 20 years service. She was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church in Lynn. She is survived her children: Katherine E. Rifchin of Natick, William A. Eynon of Stanford, CT; Elizabeth E. Eynon of New Haven, CT; and John S. Eynon of Bellingham; Three grandchildren: David Eynon, Ellen (Eynon)Wetzel and Michael Rifchin. One great grandson: Colin W. Wetzel. Also survived by one brother: Willard Olson of Manchester, MA. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning July 25th in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home 325 Main St. Ashland at 10:00 am with interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
