Eligio Introini, 94 of Framingham formerly of Ashland passed away Thursday Mar. 18 th after a period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Viola (Agnoli) Introini who died in 2013. Eligio worked as a crane operator for Local 4 for many years. He served his country honorably with the US Army Air Corps 305 th Bomb Group in the European Theatre.
Eligio, called Nono by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, loved his family with great passion. He enjoyed going to the beach, taking his family on unforgettable vacations, but most of all, he enjoyed spending his Sunday's around the dinner table, engraving memories within his family. Nono, a true family man, brought light into every room he walked into.
He is survived by his son; Davide Introini of Gilford, NH and his fiancé Elaine Furda; five grandchildren; Jennifer Kaufmann and her husband Aviv; Jaime Chung and her husband Brian; Jodie Shiosaki and her husband Craig; Leah Farland and her husband John; and Michelle Fillippone and her husband Jeffrey; twelve great-grandchildren; Sophie, Sydney, Grace, Emma, Adam, Mia, Madi, Millie, Brody, Colton, Carter, Conor; his sister; Mary Heffron of Framingham; and many nieces and nephews. He is greeted in heaven by his late wife Viola; along with his daughter Celeste Embree; daughter-in-law Kathleen Introini; brother-in-law Harold Heffron; and parents Davide and Celestina.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday March 23 rd at 11:00am in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly St. Framingham with burial to follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery. One visiting hour will be held Tuesday from 9:00-10:30am at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association – www.alz.org/donate
All visitors to the funeral home are required to wear a face mask. NO EXCEPTIONS
Funeral home visitors entering the funeral home will be limited to 10 at one time. Visitors may be asked to wait outside until room is available. Unfortunately no exceptions can made to this rule for inclement weather.
Condolences with the family should be kept brief so that others may enter after you.
Please exit the funeral immediately after condolences are given to the family to allow others to enter the funeral home.
Please observe barriers placed to provide proper social distancing.
