Eileen F. (Hill) Leacu 76 of Ashland passed away November 20th in Framingham. She was the wife of John M. Leacu and they had been married 54 years. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Sarah (Corley) Hill. She had lived in Ashland for 52 years. Mrs. Leacu was a graduate of Framingham Academy, Class of 1947. She worked for Dennison Mfg. Company in Framingham and was the Corporate Clerk for Eastern Excavating Corp. in Ashland. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Parish in Ashland. Mrs. Leacu was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader and enjoyed summers on Cape Cod with her family. Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Nancy and Chet Conboy, Steven and Shelley Leacu, Karen and Jacques LeDuc, and Paul and Sandra Leacu; nine grandchildren, Marianne and John Conboy, Joseph, Christine, and John Leacu, Laura and Jeanne LeDuc, and David and Elizabeth Leacu. She was the sister of the late Mary Fogerty, Bernard Hill, Anne Moresi, and Robert Hill. A funeral Mass will be said on Friday, November 24th at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Church Esty St. Ashland with interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. There are no calling hours.
