Ed had many hobbies and interests! At a younger age, Ed and his wife, Mary Lou, and their 4 daughters spent many years camping in Maine, hiking, fishing, and eventually enjoying their family home on the Cape in Eastham. He loved golf, bowling, and ice skating, and was an avid Boston sports fan! Ed also had a great interest in his family's history and had done many hours of research on his origins. He enjoyed cooking and was known for his baked stuff lobsters served every Christmas!
Ed loved spending time with his family and his last few years with his great granddaughter Zoe, brought him so much joy! He was never a "cat person" but his cat, Teddy, became his constant companion and was a daily source of happiness for him!
The family would like to gratefully acknowledge The Residence at Valley Farm in Ashland. The care and love which was bestowed upon Ed and Mary Lou until both of their passings, was a blessing for the family!
There will be a graveside service at a future date at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts, where he will be interred alongside his wife, Mary Lou. A Celebration of Life gathering will follow.
