Edward C. Eschenburg, 92, of Marlborough, formerly of West Hartford, CT, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2009. He and his wife Margaret (Haley) Eschenburg recently celebrated their 64thanniversary. Ed was born in Scranton, PA on Flag Day, 1916 and moved to Hartford, CT shortly before enlisting in the Navy, serving from 1943-1945 in the Pacific on the USS Monterey. For many years, he was a sales representative in New England for several medical supply companies. In addition to his wife, Margaret, Ed leaves his daughter Susan Curran and her husband Joseph of Hopedale; grandchildren Erika Leger and her husband David of Framingham; Michael Berggren of Bristol, CT; Amy Sturge and her husband Nate, Daniel Curran and his wife Dawn, and Sarah Curran, all of Atlanta, GA; and great-grandsons Alex Mahnken of Princeton, NJ and Ethan Curran of Atlanta. A Mass will be celebrated on Feb. 12, at 10 am, Good Shepherd Chapel at New Horizons, 400 Hemenway Street, Marlborough , with a private burial at the National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
