Edna May (Finke) Stahl 89, of Framingham, died Sunday, December 11th at Metrowest Hospital. She was the wife of the late George Stahl. Mrs. Stahl was a native New Yorker. Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late, Henry and Cecelia (Gernoth) Finke. She was a lifelong resident of New York until moving to Framingham in the 1980s with her husband, George, to live with their daughter, Arlene Sullivan. Mrs. Stahl worked in retail and in her later years volunteered at the Metrowest Medical Center gift shop. Mrs. Stahl leaves one brother Raymond Finke of Newton, New Jersey; one granddaughter Carolyn Sullivan of San Jose, CA; one grandson James Sullivan of Amesbury, MA; and three great grandsons; Samuel, Will Henry and Owen Sullivan, also of Amesbury. She was the mother of the late Arlene Sullivan. A funeral Mass will be celebrated, Monday, December 19, 2005 at 9 a.m. at St. Cecelia's Church, 54 Esty St. in Ashland. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 18th at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, from 3-4 p.m.
