Edith M. (Caffelle) Johnson, at age 96, passed away peacefully at St. Patrick's Manor on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Born in South Boston in 1919 to the late William and Clara Caffelle. She was married for 40 years to the late C. Walter Johnson. She was pre-deceased by her infant son Walter Richard and 9 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, William Johnson and his wife Kathy of Florida, Stephen Johnson and his wife Patricia of Florida, and Sandra McConnell and her husband David of Ashland, MA; a sister Winifred Pratt of New Hartford, CT, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Framingham at a later date. Donations in her memory can be made to St. Patrick's Manor, 863 Central Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
