Earl A. "Hoot" Comolli, 88 of Framingham died peacefully, Sunday, July 9th, 2006, at MetroWest Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Gail (Decina) Comolli who passed away in 2005. They were married for 61 years. Born in Milford, he was the son of the late Frank and Annie (Polastri) Comolli and had been a resident of Framingham for 61 years. Mr. Comolli attended Milford Schools and was a member of the Laborers International Union, Local 609. He was employed by Beacon Construction Company for 40 years as a labor foreman. In retirement he worked for Bowdoin Construction Company. He was a proud member of the Plains Association of Milford. Mr. Comolli is survived by his children; Joyce Minardi and her husband John of Westboro, Nancy Magurn and her husband Arthur of Watertown, and John Comolli and his wife Lynda of West Barnstable; his grandchildren, John-David Minardi and his wife Cindi, Daniel Minardi, Andrea Minardi and her husband Greg; Jess, Jared and Sarah Comolli and Nicole Capo; and two great grandchildren, Brooke and Alana Minardi. Mr. Comolli is also survived by one sister, Anita Pezzella of Hopedale, one brother Alfred Comolli of Kissimmee, FL, a special brother-in-law Andrew Decina, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Frank Comolli and Victoria Solovieff. Earl will be remembered for his devotion to his family and for being an outstanding father who showed love, kindness and strength to his children. He was a member of St. Tarcisius Church and an enthusiastic fan of the Boston Red Sox and N.E. Patriots. He enjoyed gardening and early morning coffee with his friends at Dunkin' Donuts. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, July 13th at 9:30 AM in St. Tarcisius Church in Framingham followed by interment in St. Tarcisius Cemetery.
