E. Therese Grigas, 78, of Ashland passed away Tuesday,April 26th after a brief struggle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Francis Grigas, who died in 1990. Born in Hartford,CT; she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Sieller) McNulty and had lived in Ashland over 50 years. After raising five children, Therese worked at the Sears Store in Framingham for many years. She attended Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Holliston. She is survived by her children: Stephen J. and Matthew P. Grigas, both of Millbury, Mark Grigas of Ashland; two daughters, Melanie A. Ferguson of Holden and Michelle M. Lord of Cambridge; two sisters, Mary Lorraine Nauha of Middleboro and Virginia Young of Hanson, MA;Thirteen grandchildren: Joanna, Nicole, John, Erica, Helen, Stephen, Robert, Michael, Julia, Olivia, Hannah, Emily and Alysse. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 2nd at 10:30am in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Holliston. Interment will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 3:00-5:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
