Dr. Dwane E. Brown, 66, of Ashland, formerly of Framingham, passed away Monday Oct. 8th at his home with his wife Brenda by his side. Born in Dartmouth, MA; he was the son of the late Wallace and Mary Ellen (Carter) Brown and husband of Brenda (Bonavire) Grabau. A resident of Framingham for 30 years, Dwane moved to Ashland in 2009. Dr. Brown was a graduate of Tufts University School of Dentistry and practiced dentistry in Milford for 36 years retiring in 2009. He also studied oriental medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture, graduating in 1984. In addition to his wife, Dr. Brown is survived by one daughter, Wendy Brown and granddaughter, Hariette, both of Ashville, NC; two step-children; Kim Grabau, and Todd Grabau and his wife Jenine; five step-grandchildren; Anthony, Georgie, Jack, Isabella, and Brooke; one brother, Merrill Brown and his wife Mary of Indianapolis, IN, nephew to the late John Brown of Dartmouth, MA; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and his life long friend, Dr. Joe Brezinski of Taunton.
