Dorothy L. Morris, 90, of Rexford, NY formerly of Ashland passed away Wednesday Oct. 22nd in Okeechobee, FL. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Morris, for 66 years, who died in 2008. She is survived by three children: Sharyn Flannery and her husband Ernie of Raynham; Dennis Morris and his wife Paula of Ashland; and Deborah Reardon of Rexford, NY; eight grandchildren: Michelle Carroll ; Ernie Flannery and his wife Kelly; Peter Flannery and his wife Christine; Christi Bredice and her husband John; Alicia Dodge and her husband Dave, Nate Reardon and his wife Mary; Jeff Morris and his wife Pam; and Jennifer Oleniak and her husband Steve. Dorothy was blessed with 29 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren and many wonderful relatives and friends. She enjoyed her winters in Okeechobee, Fl for the past 25 years, were she leaves many dear friends at Ancient Oaks. A talented seamstress, she had a passion for sewing which she enjoyed sharing with family and friends. A funeral service will be held Thursday Oct. 30th at 10:00am in the Federated Church of Ashland, 101 Main St. Ashland followed by burial in Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home 325 Main St. in Ashland. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
