Dorothy May Messom, formerly of Hopkinton, MA passed away peacefully on March 5th, 2012, one day after her 86th birthday. Loving Mother to the late Samuel Click, devoted mother-in-law to Ann Click, beloved grandmother to David Click and his fiancée Kirstin Walsh, Kelley Petralia and her husband Matt, and Tom Click and his wife Shelley, and proud great-grandmother to Ryan Click, Michael Click, Camden Petralia, Lucy Petralia, and Amelia May Petralia. Dotty spent her career at Olsen Medical in Ashland. After retiring she spent many years on Davis Road in Hopkinton living next to her late sisters Bea and Gladys, where she enjoyed gardening, knitting, and being with her many friends and growing family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the loving staff, nurses and friends of Timothy Daniels House in Holliston, where Dotty was attentively cared for over the past three years. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 7th at 11:30am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland with calling hours held Wednesday from 10:00-11:30am prior to the service.
