Dorothy M. Giffin, 79, of Ashland, passed away, Tuesday, February 20th, at the Oak Knoll Heathcare Center in Framingham. Born in Arlington, MA; she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Duffy) Sheltry and wife of the late Donald Griffin. Mrs. Griffin was the manager of Roams Dress Shop in the Natick Mall, retiring in 1980 after 20 years of service. She also served on the Board of Directors for Busy Bee Transportation. She is survived by two daughters: Christine Chiasson of Ashland; and Carol Turner of Jacksonville, FL; one son, Donald Griffin of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and close friend, Robert Moore of Holliston. A funeral service will be held Monday, Feb. 26th at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Holliston. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 3:00-5:00 PM in the funeral home.
