Dorothy Louise (McKay) Chapman, 82, of Hopkinton, passed away, Saturday, Nov. 10th at the Kathleen Daniel Nursing Home in Framingham. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah (Shaw) McKay. She was the wife of the late William J. Chapman to whom she had been married for 51 years. Mrs. Chapman was a graduate of Framingham High School and a resident of Hopkinton for 51 years. She is survived by one sister, Pauline Cyr of Natick; two nieces Katherine Jackman of Hopkinton, Bertha Chaffee of Medway, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Maroni and half-sister of the late Margaret Ruel. A service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14th at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, (www.mataresefuneral.com) 325 Main Street in Ashland. A calling hour will be held Wednesday from 10:00 -11:00 AM prior to the service.
