Doris Overturf's Obituary
Doris Overturf passed away on Friday, July 20, at the age of 91. She had spent most of her adult life as an active citizen of Ashland, MA. In earlier years she was the owner of Annie's Book Stop and had served the town of Ashland as both finance committee chairman and town moderator. Her accomplishments are too many to list.
She was predeceased by her brother, Warren Follansbee, and her son, Dallas Overturf. She is survived by her son-in-law and daughter, James and Sarah Lindsay, and by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
There will be an informal memorial gathering and open buffet luncheon at the American Legion on Summer Street in Ashland on Wednesday, August 1, at noon. The family invites everyone who knew Doris to attend.
