Doris Levesque, 88, left this life July 1, 2010 and moved into the waiting arms of the love of her life, Robert Levesque, who preceded her in death in June of 2009. Together Doris and Bob had a marriage to be envied. They created a wonderful life that was the "second time around" for both of them. Eventually through hard work and determination they were able to start their own business where they worked shoulder to shoulder each day, a feat few couples can endure. Family was most important to Doris having been orphaned at birth and raised in the foster care system. She strived to give her children a better life than she had. She was more than successful. The memories of her true and pure commitment of love will keep her alive in our hearts forever. She leaves behind her children Judith Popiel and her husband Eugene of PA; Kathleen Branagan of RI; Nancy Doktor and her husband Julian of MA; Marc Levesque and his wife Deb of MA; and Matthew Levesque and his wife Irene of RI. She also leaves her grandchildren, Michael, Michele, Jennifer, Ariane, Rebecca, Michael, Evan, Kristen, Brian, Danielle, and Kyle; and great grandchildren; Dylan, Kevin, Jackson, Anna, Lexie, and Braeden. A funeral service will be held Monday, July 5th at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. Calling hours will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM prior to the service.
