Diane M. Hansen (Fiorvanti), 76, of Ashland, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on July 22, 1949, in Natick. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Rita (Angeleri) Fiorvanti.

Diane is survived by her loving siblings: Jim Fiorvanti of Las Vegas, Bob Fiorvanti of Ashland, and Maria Voorhees and her husband George of Ashland. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephew: Tina Falls and her family from Rhode Island, George Voorhees and his wife Courtney of Norfolk, and Kathryn Diane Ronconi and her husband Michael of Ashland. Her great-nephews Leo, Joey, Gino, Cameron, and Cole—were the light of her life. Nothing brought her more joy than being "Auntie Di," whether it was picking them up from camp or putting them on the school bus every Monday morning. We can't forget Diane's love for "Bender."

Diane bravely battled cancer for over 30 years and will be remembered for her incredible strength, resilience, and ever-positive spirit. She truly lived life to the fullest, always eager to connect with friends and family, no matter the distance. She loved the thrill of driving anything with a stick shift. Always up for a road trip with friends or family, you never knew where you would end up.

Diane was a former member of The Greater Ashland Lions, a board member on the Ashland Council of Aging, as well as a Relay for Life volunteer. Diane was an active volunteer for the Ashland Town Hall working as Precinct Clerk for elections. She also volunteered at the Senior Center. Diane was most recently honored with the 2025 Community Hero Award, presented by The Council of Aging for her dedication to the senior citizens of Ashland.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 6, from 4-7 PM at John Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland, MA. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ashland Senior Center, 162 West Union Street, Ashland MA 01721 in memory of Diane Hansen.
