Denise C. Cleveland 40 of Ashland passed away Wednesday, January 25th after a period of declining health. Born in Framingham she was the daughter of Thomas and Brenda (McDonald) Cleveland. She was a lifelong resident of Ashland. Denise attended the Ashland School System and was a graduate of Ashland High School, Class of 1983. Besides her parents she is survived by one sister: Karyn Golabiewski and her husband Robert of Derry, NH, one nephew: Ryan Golabiewski, her aunts and uncles: Robert and Susan Cleveland, Stephen and Marie McDonald, James and Linda McDonald, and David and Mary Schiapucci. A funeral service will be held on Monday morning in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St., Ashland at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Sunday evening from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in her memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, 120 Wall Street, 19th Floor, New York, NY 10005.
