Debra Elaine Owen, 58, a lifelong resident of Ashland passed away Sunday at her home surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Barbara (Pontremoli) Mellen and wife of Kevin Owen. Debra was a cafeteria worker for the Town of Dover school system. She enjoyed camping, Hampton Beach, playing cards, and was a past member of the Ashland VFW Ladies Aux.

In addition to her husband; she is survived by three children; Jenn Brown of Milford; Michael Owen and his wife Sarah of Holliston; and Jeffrey Owen of Ashland; five grandchildren; Joseph, Julia, Jillian, Callen, and Gordon, and her siblings, Karen Smith, Nancy DeSiata, Kevin Mellen, Brad Mellen, Michael Mellen, and John Terasconi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday Jan. 24 ^th at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Parish, 54 Esty St. Ashland with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held Wed. from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.
