Deborah (Daniels) Shaurette, 72, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Quincy, MA, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Eleanor (McLaughlin) Daniels. Mrs. Shaurette was a resident of Framingham for many years and grew up in Belmont. She was employed for over 20 years by McLean Hospital in Belmont as an educator and as a special education teacher in the Cambridge and Framingham public schools. She was an enthusiastic golfer and a member of the Red Hat Society. Deborah will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother who cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She leaves behind two daughters; Linda (Lyon) Moran and her husband Paul of Wayland, and Jennifer (Lyon) Kuhlman and her husband Chip of Bellingham; four grandchildren; Erika and Madeline Moran, and Rachel and Christopher Kuhlman; one sister, Linda Daniels of Sudbury, and one brother, John B. Daniels and his wife Leona of Southbridge, MA. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 19th at 11am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
