Deborah Ann Oberhelman, 56, of Woonsocket, RI passed away unexpectedly Monday Feb.6th. Daughter of the late Edgar and Jean (MacNeil) Roche, she was the wife of Chet Oberhelman for 33 years. Deborah was a graduate of Keefe Tech. Vocational School in 1979. A resident of Woonsocket for 30 years, she worked at CVS Corporate in North Smithfield, RI for many years. She was a well-known high school and college volleyball referee in the MA and RI area. She was a member of the USAV, NCAA, and Federation Volleyball Associations and participant in the Yankee Adult Volleyball League.

In addition to her husband; she is survived by two daughters; April Oberhelman of Puerto Rico; and Jill Oberhelman of Woonsocket, RI; one grandson, Elijah; two sisters; Charlene Davis and her husband Mark; and Loretta Valentiejus and her husband Peter; and one brother, Gary Roche and his wife Dede.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday Feb. 11th at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty St. Ashland. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland.
