Senior Airman Deanna Kelsey Richards, 26, of Ashland died unexpectedly while training with the 27th Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, NM. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of Robert and Irene (Cheung) Richards. Deanna was a graduate of Ashland High School Class of 2008 and Suffolk University Class of 2012. Upon graduating, she enlisted in the US Air Force achieving the rank of Senior Airman.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Kyle Patrick Richards of Charlotte, NC, and James Alan Richards of Ashland, MA.

Calling hours will be held Saturday Jan. 28th from 9:00am-12:00PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland.  A graveside committal service with full military honors will be held Saturday at 12:30 PM in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Fenwick St. Framingham.
