David Howard Mack, 81, of Natick passed away Sunday March 18th surrounded by his family.  He was the husband of Elizabeth (Hickey) Mack for 60 years.  Mr. Mack was a graduate of Ashland High School Class of 1953 where he was a star football player for the undefeated 1952 Ashland High School team and went onto receive two Masters Degrees from Northeastern University in Business and Engineering.  A resident of Natick for the last 52 years, he worked as an electrical engineer for Raytheon Co. until retiring in 2000.  David enjoyed his spending time with his grandchildren, weekends on the Cape, and smoking his pipe.

In addition to his wife; he is survived by three sons; Brian Mack of Virginia Beach, VA; Sean Mack and his wife Bonnie of N. Reading, MA; and Timothy Mack of Oceanside, CA; seven grandchildren; Daniel, Justin, Stephen, Natalie, Ryan, Liam, and Reagan; one sister, Dorothy Plourde of Westboro, and many nieces and nephews.  He was the father of the late Kevin Mack and brother to the late Richard Mack and Edward Boucher.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday March 21st at 11:00am in St. Linus Church, 119 Hartford St. in Natick with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.  Calling hours will be held Monday from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to A Place To Turn, 99 Hartford St. Natick MA  01760
