David H Gilpatrick, 61, of Framingham passed away Sunday May 4th after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Burnham and Maria (Geissinger) Gilpatrick and beloved husband of Susan (Tessier) Gilpatrick. They were married 34 years. David worked as a truck driver for Fresenius Medical Care in Marlborough for 18 years. An avid sports fan, he was an active and enthusiastic supporter of Framingham Youth Baseball for many years. In addition to his wife; he is survived by four children; Robert Gilpatrick and his fiance Samantha McDonough of Ashland; Jason Gilpatrick and his wife Kristina of Framingham; Jeffrey Gilpatrick of Framingham; and Ashley Gilpatrick of Milford; one brother, Gary Gilpatrick and his wife Linda of Hopkinton, and one nephew, Sean Gilpatrick. A funeral service will be held Friday May 9th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
