It is with great sadness we announce Daniel Holl Dwinnells of Norwood passed away peacefully after a long illness at the age of 48. He is predeceased by his parents William and Dorothy (Holl) Dwinnells of Ashland. He leaves behind his beloved fiancée, Margaret Hynes, and his cherished daughter, Marissa Dwinnells, both of Norwood. He is also survived by his sister, Cindy Clapp of Sterling as well as his brothers, Bill Dwinnells of Ashland and Eric Dwinnells of Holden.

Born and raised in Ashland, Dan was a proud member of the Ashland High School Class of 1994. He dedicated his life to helping others, working in social services, and offering care and support to those in need. His passion for making a difference led him to earn his Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification, and he spent many years providing compassionate care in various settings.

Dan was known for his warmth, kindness, and his love of all things Star Wars and Disney. His playful spirit and devotion to his family and friends will be deeply missed by all who know him.

Visiting Hours are to be held on September 21, 2024, from 2-5 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home 325 Main St Ashland, MA 01721.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Saturday at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home.

Collation to be held at Owen O'Leary's 50 Turnpike Rd (Rt 9 East), Southborough, MA 01772 starting at 6 PM
